  In cryptography, as in cross words, one correct answer leads to another, so search for a logical entry point. These exercises build many mental skills: Working memory (ability to hold data in mind while comparing it with other data), visual memory, logical reasoning and attention span.
 
 

Instructions:

Each symbol, as it is used in this exercise, represents a digit, always the same digit. Here's some help on strategy:
The first line tells you the value of .
The third line tells you the value of , and helps you begin to narrow down the values of the symbols on the left of the equation. Fill the boxes to the left of the "=" sign, then click the equals sign (=) for validation. Double click or select inside the textbox to change values.
